Maternity Shopping

Today Nathan and I went down to Cheyenne to get some pregnancy clothes for me!  In the Motherhood Maternity store they provide a baby bump that you can try on to see how the clothes will fit.  Nathan and I had a lot of fun trying on our baby bellies.  I must say that Nathan makes a much more attractive pregnant person than I do.  Then we hung out with Sam and the kids for awhile.  And of course we took a ton of pictures of Carlee!  We're both getting a little bit worried that the more time we spend with Carlee, the uglier our baby is going to look to us when it is born!

A Fun Visit

My brothers Kevin and Todd came down to Laramie for a visit.  Kevin just got done with a semester at BYU-Idaho and Todd was on spring break.  We went bowling, they helped me work on my young women's lesson (which was more fun than it sounds), and just hung out at our house.  It was a lot of fun having them here, they obeyed all the guest rules and didn't make Nathan mad too much of the time haha.

Springtime Fun

Nathan surprised me the day before Easter with my very own Easter basket.  He gave me flowers and strawberries in a really cute basket, he is such a great husband!  Later that day we went down to Cheyenne to help Sam and Kim move.  It took quite a while, but it was a lot of fun since we were spending time with the family! 

Easter

This year for Easter we went over to the Shumway's at 9:00 am to search for our Easter baskets.  Everybody searched really hard and it was a lot of fun!  It took Nathan and I about an hour to find ours... a little better than last year.  Then we had the big Easter "dinner" as a brunch so we could all get to church on time.  We got to hear Kevin and Mary speak in sacrament and they both did an amazing job.  After church Sam, Kim, and their kids came over to search for their baskets.  We were there a little late so, unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of them searching.  However, we got some really cute pictures of Carlee.  We couldn't get enough of her, she is SO darn cute!  It was such a fun Easter, we love being with our family!

23 Years Old!

I had such an amazing birthday this year!!!  I didn't think we were going to do anything special for the day, but little did I know that my Mom, Grandma, sister Kendra, and my brother Nathan drove down to surprise me!  Nathan and I went to the gym and when we came home I saw balloons and a sign on our front door and the family was inside, it was such a big surprise!  We all went out to lunch, did a little shopping, later that night we went to my brother Derek's mathlete banquet for dinner (which was surprisingly really good), and then we went home and had cake and ice cream.  For the rest of the night we played games, watched a movie, and my mom helped me make a poster for school with her awesome  Cricut machine!  It was a great birthday!

Spring Break Fun

Nathan and I had an interesting spring break this year.  Nathan and I just stayed in Laramie.  I would have liked to say that it was relaxing... but it pretty much consisted of me sleeping and puking my guts out while Nathan worked and took care of me at home.  Nathan was able to spend a night in Cheyenne and sang with Sam and PJ for Sam's seminary class.  While he was there he got to play with Carlee.  She is SO cute and made Nathan even more excited to have one of our own soon.  I don't know if will be possible to have one that cute, but hopefully we'll want to keep it anyway.  We also celebrated our St. Patrick's Day tradition of having lucky charms for breakfast.  Fun stuff...

Oh Baby!

We had our first baby appointment this Monday.  It was really neat, we got to hear the baby's heartbeat and got our first ultrasound!  It doesn't look like much more than a bean right now, but it is still really exciting!  Who knew that something so tiny could be making me so sick!  Our official due date is October 28... can't wait!
