Come on Lionheart!

Life has been crazy the last couple weeks! Nathan and I have both had a lot going on to finish up with the semester and we both have finals next week. We just need to hold on for one more week! Tonight we went out to dinner (to celebrate the last day of classes), watched a strange movie, and now Nathan is playing one of his video games. He is super cute playing video games, it reminds me of a little boy playing nintendo. Direct quote from just now: "I hope he does lionheart, that is one of his attacks...come on lionheart"! -Nathan. On a related note, Nathan has been working really early in the morning and has been fitting tiny naps in during the day. I got this really cute picture of him sleeping and cuddling one of my stuffed animals. What a cute husband.

Cheese Stains on my Quiz

Nathan has been having back problems lately and we think it is due to the deformed mattress we have been sleeping on. So we finally splurged and bought us a new mattress. It is great! There has already been a little improvement on Nathan's back. And what is even better is that they will replace the mattress if there are indentations of 1" or more. So Nathan and I are planning on getting really huge to test their policy... we started out by having Papa John's pizza for lunch and then chips and salsa with el fudge cookies for dinner last night. Bring it on Serta.

First Real Day of Spring

Today we went to Nathan's softball game. He had two games. They won the first game 25-2, and the second game 8-1. It was very intense. Nathan did a great job pitching and made it on base almost every time up to bat. The weather was great!!! Nathan even got a sunburn, Hooray sun!!! After the game we took a nice walk and are just finishing off the day watching movies. It has been a great day!

Conference + Final Fantasy + Blizzard= Easter Sunday

Merry Christmas! Oh wait...this is a picture of Easter Sunday, this is what we get for living in Laramie. Thank goodness it was conference weekend so we were able to stay indoors in our warm and comfy clothes. This second picture is General Conference with Final Fantasy Seven? in the background. Nathan assured me that it is a game that takes no thought so it was ok during conference, and he was actually able to tell me what all of the talks were about so I guess he was right...

Easter with the Shumway Family!

Easter was a lot of fun! This was actually my (Heather's) second Easter with the Shumway family. Last Easter Nathan and I hardly knew each other. My roommate and I were stuck in Laramie and were planning on eating our usual dinner of chips and salsa at our apartment. Nathan found out we had nowhere to go and was nice enough to invite us to his house for dinner. I remember thinking how crazy and fun everything was and as we were leaving my friend said, "wow, can you imagine what it would be like to be a part of that family?" Well surprise! Now I am and I got to experience all the craziness of Easter with the Shumway's. I got some really cute pictures of the Easter egg hunt, and searching for the baskets (all the kids are SO adorable). It took Nathan about an hour to find our basket and he wasn't even the last one looking. I love my new family and it was great to spend so much time with them over Easter break!
